Family Game Night

A fine old tradition that is gaining popularity again is family game night.  A time to just enjoy being together without television and just do something fun.  It's a great idea that helps keep the lines of communication open and helps the bonds of love grow even stronger.  At Learning Is Fun Store, we have some software solutions that are great fun for the whole family, or, they can be used single player against the computer.  These games have been around for a long time, and, the computer versions add a whole new level of enjoyment to them.

A great way to introduce puzzle fun to kids, and get them to use memory and thinking skills is Concentration, based on the old television game show.  The game will keep everyone on their toes as you try to remember where prizes are located on the board and match them to reveal parts of a rebus puzzle.  For those who have never played a rebus, the puzzle involves pictures and other clues to sound out a well known phrase, movie or song title.  Who ever guesses correctly gets to go on to the bonus round.

Loaded with cool graphics and sound effects, Hasbro Family Game Night has six of their classic favorites designed exclusively for pc's.  Just pick out the game and the number of players and you're ready to rumble.  This new software is compatible with both Windows 7 and Vista operating systems and will work with XP as well.  Included are Monopoly, Operation, Pictureka, Life, Clue and Yahtzee.  Playing them on your home computer adds a whole new dimension of fun and excitement!
