As we grow older, science has proven that it's not a good thing to just sit in the corner and vegetate. The mind and body can go downhill very quickly. It's important to keep both our minds and bodies active, and, one thing that we can do is learn something new.
Get up, get out, and take up a leisure time hobby. There are many outdoor activities that aren't overly taxing, but will give the body a workout and lift the spirits. Golf and fishing are just two of them - everyone is looking forward to Spring and being able to enjoy the outdoors again.
