Bailey and Millie

Trusted by educators and a favorite of children and parents alike, is software that features the loveable characters Bailey and his friend Millie.   This software developed by Edmark has become a favorite way to introduce children to the wonderful world of knowledge that opens up when you learn reading, writing and arithmetic.  At Learning Is Fun Store, we are pleased to be able to offer you several wonderful software programs featuring these charming characters.

Designed for youngsters ages 3-5, Millie and Bailey Preschool will help develop a variety of necessary skills that children need to know before entering school.  This program not only teaches them about letters, early phonics, numbers and shapes, but, helps develop necessary thinking skills.  Children learn about listening, problem solving, following directions, and spatial awareness.  It will also help them to become courteous, confident and have a sense of self-esteem.

Every parent knows the importance of reading and how important it is to future scholastic success.  A great way to start your child off on the right path is Bailey's Book House.  This software has developed a great reputation, and, with good reason.  There are seven fun activities to hone literacy and inspire kids to learn letters, words and word families, rhyming, prepositions, adjectives, and storytelling. Children can even make their own greeting cards and storybooks.

Make math easier and learning the basics a whole lot of fun with Millie's Math House.  Children explore early math concepts by counting critters, building mouse houses, creating crazy-looking bugs, making jellybean cookies for Harley the horse, and finding just the right shoes for Little, Middle, and Big.  Children play while structured learning balanced with gentle, positive feedback enhances their experience.

Fun Rewards

They say that all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy (whoever "they" are!).  As old a saying as this is, it is probably true.  Children spend a lot of time learning everything that they need to know for a bright future, but, it's important for them to be just kids, too.  At Learning Is Fun Store, we have more than just educational software, after all, fun is part of our name.  You will find a nice selection of software games that children can enjoy as a rewarding break from schoolwork, and, some software games the whole family can enjoy.

A goofy racing game that kids can really enjoy is Crazy Frog Racer 2.  This is a crazy chase through the Frog Universe with kooky The Annoying Thing as he tries to defeat his opponents and win the race.  Kids get to help him and there are a variety of fun power-ups that they can use including toxic clouds and oil puddles.  Also included are two fun mini-games, Crazy Pinball and Crazy Dance, for even more entertainment.

The younger set will enjoy enchanting Disney's Winnie the Pooh Activity Center.  Children can read "Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day" along with Pooh and catch mischevious bees along the way.  Kids also get to build Hefalumps and Woozles, help Eeyore find Owl a new home, help Piglet through an obstacle course, or, play the Hillside Party Hop board game.

A game that's easy enough for kids to play, but, challenging enough for adults is Deep Sea Marble Pop.  Journey to the bottom of the sea in your mini-sub for bubble popping fun.  Easy to play, just load your cannon, aim, launch and create matches of three or more marbles. Vivid graphics, lightning strikes, color morphs and spectacular bonuses make this game fun for all.
