Early Math - Pathway to Success

Many children go through school with the notion that math is an intimidating subject.  The level of difficulty increases as higher mathematics approaches.  It is important to instill in young learners the idea that math can be an entertaining puzzle that is fun to solve.  A firm grasp of early concepts and a healthy dose of confidence will serve them well as they travel the road to geometry, algebra, calculus and trigonometry.  At Learning Is Fun Store, you will find a selection of early math software to help your child get started the right way.

Most parents are familiar with Weekly Reader, they have developed a math program for early learning that any child will respond to.  Getting Started in Math - Learning System starts children off the way that is most familiar to them, counting on fingers.  As their understanding grows, they begin to learn larger numbers, measurement, addition, subtraction and multiplication problems.  A unique combination of video, audio and images provides a pathway to knowledge no matter their learning style.

Who doesn't love the humor of Bill Cosby and Nick Jr.?  Based on his series, Little Bill Thinks Big Early Math & Logic encourages self confidence, the value of friendship and how to solve problems creatively.  There are four learning adventures, one for every season, with engaging activities and three difficulty levels.  Children learn numbers, counting, reasoning, logic, sorting, classifying, shapes, spatial reasoning, following directions and so much more.

The Mighty Math series from Edmark is always as entertaining as it is educational.  Young children will love learning with Mighty Math Zoo Zillions.  Colorful zoo characters will enchant your child as they teach them a wide variety of early skills with fun activities that will keep them playing.  Learning number line concepts, addition and subtraction, counting money and making change, problem-solving skills, and early three-dimensional geometry was never so much fun!
