Interactive Storybooks

Beginning readers can have fun and practice their reading skills with interactive storybooks.  What makes these software storybooks so wonderful?  Children can either read the story, or, have the story read to them.  Words are highlighted as they follow along to assist in word recognition, and, most storybooks include other fun activities.  At Learning Is Fun Store, we've added some all time favorites for your youngsters to enjoy.

Arthur is such a charming and friendly character, kids can't help but love him.  In Arthur's Reading Race, Arthur has learned to read in school and he is reading everything in sight.  He offers to teach his little sister, D.W., how to read, but, she tells him she already knows how.  The two of them set off on an exciting journey through town to see who can read the most words.  Also included are three educational games that will help improve your child's vocabulary and boost their reading proficiency.

Children will laugh and learn when they follow along with Disney's Winnie the Pooh & Tigger Too Animated Storybook.  This charming tale features Tigger, who likes learning best, and all of your child's favorite characters from the Hundred Acre Wood.   There are lots of skill-building games that will help improve vocabulary, memory and thinking skills as well.

Beloved by children and adults too, everyone adores The Cat in the Hat by Dr. Seuss.  This interactive storybook helps build reading comprehension, vocabulary, spelling, word recognition and computer skills.  Children can follow along with the highlighted story, or, they can gain computer skills while searching with their mouse for the special objects that will take them to fun learning games.
